The Peterborough City Council Behaviour & Inclusion service is a highly proactive and driven team that works with all educational settings to support and promote positive behaviour through Inclusion.

We are looking for a highly motivated, exceptional individual to take on the role of Early Intervention Family Worker (EIFW) working across all Peterborough City Council Educational settings including primary, secondary, special and alternative providers.

Successful candidates for this post will ideally possess some behaviour mentoring experience, with an interest in working with students with a wide range of behaviour and educational needs including emotional, social and mental health needs. A caring, flexible and common sense approach is important.

Primarily, this role includes working with pupils in schools and working with families within the home to resolve difficulties causing concern promptly to avoid exclusion and promote learning.

The PCC Behaviour Team is a small but effective team that works closely with all school settings offering support to maximise the outcomes for those learners who are experiencing difficulties.

This is a Term Time only role.

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcomes of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
