This is a 12 month Secondment Opportunity

Working together with partners delivering a range of early help, family support and effective social work interventions which build resilience, remove barriers and enable children and young people to look forward to a brighter future.

The role

The Children and Families Hub is the 'Front Door' for the wider Children and Families Service. The role is part of a matrix management system that has oversight of both alternatively qualified and qualified Social Worker.

The role holder will have experience of threshold application, working with internal and external partners, and working within a pressured environment. An understanding of data, audit, and performance management is a key element of this role, informing both practice standards and service development.

You will be working alongside the existing Team Managers to promote a high-performing, customer-centric culture identifying the right intervention, at the right time ensuring that children and their families receive the lowest form of safe intervention.
